Welcome back to Truth Worth Living, where we seek to understand God’s word so we can live in God’s will.

In Matthew 5:9, Jesus said:

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."

Peace doesn't just happen—it must be made. The blessing isn’t for the peaceful or even peacekeepers, but for those who make peace. Being a peacemaker means stepping into conflict, understanding its root causes, and putting others first.

Romans 12 calls us to bless those who persecute us, to overcome evil with good, and to live at peace as far as it depends on us. When we do the work of peacemaking, we reflect God's heart and receive the blessing of being called His children.

Peacemaking is a truth worth pursuing, and this is Truth Worth Living.
