The Greek word Jesus uses is makarios, often translated as "happy," but it signifies a deeper, enduring happiness and satisfaction unaffected by external circumstances. Jesus promises this profound blessing to those in seemingly unenviable situations and those displaying godly dispositions.

In Christ, we find everything we need, especially in challenging times. His blessings bring satisfaction and security that surpass any worldly happiness.
